e-FAQ uses either Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or Microsoft Database Engine (MSDE) installed on the same machine as e-FAQ. e-FAQ includes MSDE, so no database server software needs to be purchased. If your organization already has SQL Server 2000, then e-FAQ can work with this database.
