A. A Rim type cylinder is required on the following series Exit Devices: 2100, 21, 2200, 22, 24 (on 03 function only), 26 (on 03 function only), 2700, 2800, 100, 200, and 0810. A 1-1/4″ mortise type cylinder with a standard straight cam is used on the following Exit Devices: 2300, 24 x 2908A, 26 x 2908A, 300. To achieve cylinder dogging on ALL Apex Series Devices a 1-1/4″ mortise cylinder with a standard straight cam is required.
