What type of curriculum or teaching style do the schools utilize?

Some schools use a subject-based curriculum, which means that every class is different. Classes may have little or nothing to do with English education, except that they take place in English. This is much better for the kids as they learn through association with the teacher, rather than by rote memorization from texts. There are 13 “subjects” in total, ranging from “Hands-on Activity” “Story Time” to “Music” to “Language Arts” to “Field Trip”. Now don’t be scared, “subjects” does not mean the same things as subjects at home. We do not expect teachers to teach Math or Sciences. They all have tutors and parents for that!
