What type of coverages are available with Dental Insurance?
There are several coverage choices available with dental insurance. Generally, dental insurance will coverage preventative dentistry, minor and major work such as fillings, crowns and on lays, and some plans will provide benefits for Orthodontic care. Most dental plans have a deductible associated with them. The deductible can be calendar year or lifetime. Most dental plans also have a calendar year maximum on the amount the plan will pay toward covered dental expenses. This amount is generally $1,000, $1,500, or $2,000.
