What type of contractual liability is covered by the insurance policy?
The HA liability is assumed in contract but only to the extent of the HA obligations and with respect to the HA operations. For example: the HA leases a piece of equipment from a company and the contract requires that the HA assumes the liability of the company in the eventuality that they are being sued because of the HA negligence in using that piece of equipment (i.e. it causes damages to someone else property). The policy would pay for the defence of the HA.
