It is multiuser software which can be run on any commodity PC and PC Windows or Linux operating system. The server has Pharos database applications and supports main system functions including enterprise WIKI and intranet portal. The users can access it using their own workstations (PCs, notebooks, mobile smartphones, PDAs). Ultimately the number of users depends on server capacity to handle it. The more powerful server is the more users can be supported. The minimum configuration has at least two connected computers of which the server can run on any available free PC. In addition there is new highly effective option to decrease Pharos installation and running costs: having it running in the cloud computing environment.
