What type of computer do I need with OptioX?
Please note the following system requirements: Windows: The computer should be equipped with built-in USB ports and a pre-installed version of Windows98/98SE/2000/Me/XP. Note: You will need to install the provided USB driver for Windows98/98SE only. Also note, Windows 95 and NT4 do not support USB, so you cannot directly connect the camera. You will need to use a SD card reader with these older operating systems. PC camera function: PC camera function can only be used on Windows XP Service Pack 1 or later. If you are using Windows XP service pack1, the PC driver installation is required. For service pack2, installation is not required. You can use the standard OS driver. Macintosh: The computer should be equipped with built-in USB ports and a pre-installed version of Mac OS 9.2, or Mac OS X (10.1/ 10.2 / 10.3) or later. Note: For Mac OS 9.2 and Mac OS X (10.1 / 10.2 / 10.3) or later, the computer will automatically recognize the camera without Pentax-supplied drivers. PC camera functio
