What type of community is available to Wagner doctoral students?
The Doctoral Program offers numerous opportunities to meet fellow doctoral students and Wagner faculty. Some of these opportunities are social in nature, while others are to help students strengthen their skills. Membership in professional organization is encouraged for doctoral students, and funding to attend professional conferences is available on a competitive basis. The Association to Benefit Doctoral Students (“ABD”) is a student-run group that organizes academic and social gatherings to provide support and a sense of community among Wagner doctoral students. Their activities include brown bag lunches, seminars, happy hours and other social events.
