What type of children will live at New Song?
As a privately funded ministry, New Song Mission will care for impoverished boys and girls who are at serious risk of abuse and neglect, whose parents or caregivers are unable to raise them due to significant physical, psychological, emotional, or other debilitative issues such as incarceration or age related limitations. Many of these kids will be fatherless and have significant educational needs. Children will come to us between the ages of 6-12 years old and will be from Indiana, mostly the southern half of the state. Kids will be able to stay and grow up at New Song. New Song will not be able to care for kids who are violent or who have histories of sexual misconduct. These kids just won’t fit within the homes and open campus environment that we will be providing.
