What type of cases does the State court of Appeals hear?

0

All Appeals courts only hear cases where the plaintiff can show that he was wrongfully convicted bcause illegal evidence was used, or some other such procedural error took place. If the judge, witnesses, DA, etc, all did as they should have, and violated no rights/procedures, the case won’t get appealed. In death penalty cases, it is asumed that procedural errors may have occcured, and the cases are reviewed on appeal just to lessen the odds of an innocent being executed.
