What type of career planning is necessary to pursue a career in Buying?
Most of our candidates for entry-level positions in Buying have a College Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or Fashion Design. Experience in the retail field or in retail sales is a definite asset. We also look for skills such as mathematical, computer (Microsoft Office) and administrative skills. Creativity and fashion flair are definite musts.
