What type of camera does Cann Scan Thermal Imaging use?
Cann Scan uses a FLIR P640 camera, which is of the top of the line civilian thermal imaging camera on the market. The P640 has a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels. Inside the thermal imaging camera is a very sensitive computer processor, which measures the amount of infrared radiation energy emitted from an object. In the P640 there is over 300,000 measurements (640 x 480 = 307,200 pixels) taken 30 times a second.
