There are true Blue Spruces and there are the Colorado Blue Spruce. The Colorado Blue spruce will need Aluminum sulphate on a regular basis to keep its color. The nicest ones are the true blue ones. These include Bakkeri, Fat Albert Spruce and of course the Hoopsi. Blue Spruce which is the Cadilac of spruces. The one out in our nursery yard is a Hoopsi.
