What type of background is necessary to get a PharmD?

To enter into the PharmD program you must have taken certain undergraduate courses including chemistry, biology, and physics, have good communication skills, and have the desire to help treat sick people. Please click here to see our list of required pre-pharmacy coursework. However, unlike the MD degree, an undergraduate degree is not required to enter the College of Pharmacy, although many students do in fact have bachelor’s degrees.
