What type of assistance is available if students have personal difficulties?
The Baylor University Counseling Center offers quality psychological services and counseling appropriate to the individual student’s needs, including individual, couples, and group therapy. To make an appointment with the counseling center the student can call 254-710-2467, or visit the Counseling Center, which is located on the second floor of the Student Life Center (SLC). The Counseling Center’s hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If the student is experiencing an emergency, they may come by the office during regular business hours or after hours call the main number for information on how to contact the on-call counselor. A student may visit the Counseling Center 12 times in a school calendar year. The first seven visits are free, and visits 8 through 12 are $10 each, which is billed to the student’s account.
