What type of Anti-Spam solutions are available?
There are essentially three types: Software that you install on your computer that works in conjunction with your email software, hardware that attaches to your network to inspect and stop spam before it gets to your computer, or a managed solution that filters inbound mail before it gets to your network. While they all have similar goals, there are some things to consider. All three solutions need constant updates for the Anti-Spam filters, and will cost some sort of monthly or annual fee. The last option though stops the spam before it even gets to your network or computer, thereby not only reducing Spam, but also reducing traffic and bandwidth. We recommend this off-network filtering solution, as there is no software to install and it is the easiest to set up and manage.
