We only use our hot melt glue system to build our Southern Traditions line. There is no fastners used in the Southern Traditions line. 7. What type of adhesives and fastners do you use to build your Colonial Series Line? We only use our hot melt glue system to build our Colonial Series as well. There are no visable fasteners used in our Colonial Series line. 8. Did you do any testing with the adhesives on constructing your door? Yes, we did extensive testing with our hot melt glue. Our glue was put through extreme heat and cool chambers. We used temperture changes from -30 degrees F to 265 degrees F and found no failure in the chemical bond between the steel and marine board. 9. Why do you use commercial sections to build your Colonial Series Doors? We use commerical sections because of the sterdiness and strength they give us after applying the weight to the door.
