What type of accommodation is available in the Iwokrama forest?
1. The Iwokrama Field Station Accommodation at the Iwokrama field station is in wooden, dormitory-style, thatched roofed cabins with balconies. The cabins are well lit and fully meshed. 2. Satellite Camps. There are 5 satellite camps in the Iwokrama Forest. These are open-sided buildings with corrugated iron roofs, and separate cooking areas and pit latrines. They are all built close to a permanent waterway. Visitors to satellite camps sleep in hammocks with specially designed mosquito nets. 3. Fly Camps These are rudimentary frames over which tarpaulin covers are thrown. A similar structure nearby provides the cooking area, and visitors sleep in hammocks with hammock-nets.
