What type mixer mounting is best for tote tank applications?
Our design places the mixer in the center of the tank opening for vertical shaft installation. Our standard design accommodates clamp, cup-plate, or fixed mounting. Clamp mounting is the least expensive design. Special mounting requirements can also be supplied The support legs on the lifter extend out too far at the floor and I am tight on room. One version of the lifter design eliminates the legs and attaches the lifter directly to a wall or other vertical support. There have been customers who use a structural beam anchored to the floor to support the mixer lifter.
