The Mike O’Malley show actually did last 2 episodes, and was then canceled. A show in Australia, however, titled “Australia’s Naughtiest Home Videos” was canceled during its first episode. It was a spin-off of sorts from Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, which of course is the Australian version of America’s Funniest Home Videos. The story goes that the owner of the network was informed of what the show was while she was at a dinner party, turned on a TV to see it, and called the network studio saying “Get that shit off the air!”, at which point the station cut to black with “technical difficulties”, and then aired a repeat of Cheers.
