Imus May Move to the Fox Business Network By Brian Stelter It appears likely that Don Imus is getting a new cable TV home on the Fox Business Network. Mr. Imus, the irascible talk-show host, is in talks with Fox about a TV simulcast of “Imus in the Morning,” the 6 to 9 a.m. radio show. “Imus in the Morning,” which is heard on about 65 radio stations, is currently simulcast by RFD-TV, a cable channel that identifies itself as “rural America’s most important network.” Bloggers including Rick Ellis of All Your TV said last week that “RFD-TV is looking to drop the show due to financial problems at the network.” The RFD-TV deal would end if Mr. Imus is picked up by the nearly two-year-old Fox Business Network. The channel is in “final negotiations” with Mr. Imus, The Los Angeles Times said Monday. “No deal is in place yet between the two parties, but if the talks conclude as anticipated, the arrangement could start sometime in September,” the newspaper said.
