What tribes of native americans lived in the great basin region?

First off, Native people STILL live in the Great Basin. I am one of them. The Great Basin is typically mapped to include the whole of Nevada and parts of the surrounding states of California, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Arizona. Some maps include the western most parts of Wyoming and Colorado as well. Within this area are Shoshone and Paiute people. The Paiute are divided into two groups: Northern and Southern Paiute and are divided geographically by the Western Shoshone. There are many bands of Paiutes and Shoshones spread across the Great Basin. There are also Washoes, Utes, and other smaller tribes.
