The province of Gautang has been subdivided in to 10 zones (map) for accommodation and transport purposes throughout the Summit period. These zones are: Zone 1: Sandton & surrounds Zone 2: Midrand Zone 3: Johannesburg Central Zone 4: Soweto Zone 5: Randburg & surrounds Zone 6: Magaliesburg & Muldersdrift Zone 7: Pretoria Central Zone 8: Pretoria East Zone 9: Airports & surrounds Zone 10: South East Rand An inter-zone transport system will be put in place to transport delegates in to Ubuntu Village (Zone 1). Shuttle services will then operate across Zone 1 to the WSSD (also Zone 1) and down to the Global Peoples Forum (Zone 4).
