Chicana/o Studies classes at ELAC satisfy several Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETCE) and California State University (CSU) Certification requirements. Courses available to students fulfill AREA 3 and AREA 4 of the IGETCE, as well as meeting the CSU Graduation Requirement in U.S. History, Constitution and American Ideals. Classes available also fulfill Section C, Section D and Section E of the CSU General Education Certificate. Students are advised to review a campus catalog for a complete listing of transfer requirements and application due dates.
