What training records have to be documented?

0

According to the ISO 14001: 2004 standard Section 4.4.2 Competence, Training, and Awareness, training records should be kept for training that has been given to those persons “performing tasks whose work is related to a significant environmental aspect(s).” This is commonly referred to as competency training. General awareness training does not have to be documented, but procedures should be developed and implemented to ensure that all appropriate personnel working for, or on behalf of, the installation have received EMS awareness training.
