What training is required for developmental disabilities trainers ?

0

Full-time developmental disabilities trainers (DDTs) are required to complete the Training Unit before going to work in the homes. The Training Unit is 19 days (8 hours each day) for a total of 152 hours of training. Part-time developmental disabilities trainers (DDTs) are required to complete 12 hours of training in the LRC prior to working in the home. Part-time DDTs are then required to complete the remainder of DDT training during the 9-month probationary period.
