What training in SNOMED CT will be provided?
SNOMED CT will be embedded in the applications being developed and deployed by LSPs. Therefore we expect healthcare professionals to be trained in the use of those applications, and where appropriate, the use of SNOMED CT within them. Where there is a requirement for healthcare professionals to add or QA new SNOMED CT content then specific, detailed training will be provided by the NHS Terminology Service.
