What training facilities will be in the TradeFIT simulated subdivision?
The “simulated subdivision” will include: • Road and service infrastructure such as drainage, power, communications, water, gas, pits for simulated connections training; • Power distribution centre; • Sandpits for building foundation work and simulated training for house and services construction, including slab and reinforced concrete construction with two houses for dismantling and reconstruction to provide training in brick, tile, roofing, plumbing, power, gas, water and drainage connections; • Structural steel construction centre; and • Slab construction rigging, cranes and scaffolding, including a tower crane.
