What training can I expect as a new Optometrist, Dispensing Optician or Contact Lens Optician at ASDA?
You’ll spend approximately four weeks in one of our Stores of Learning, where you’ll learn how to operate your Optical department and perfect your leadership style. You’ll also have the opportunity to shadow someone currently in your role. Once you know the ropes, we’ll encourage you to get actively involved in the training of your colleagues too. We provide the opportunity for you to work closely with the local community plus you can also benefit from flexible working practices to allow you to take full advantage of further career development opportunities.
