What training and experience do the people in the office have?
Amy Guthrie received her Bachelor of Arts in Literature (unusual for a dentist) and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from Ohio State University. She has been practicing dentistry since 1988, with the philosophy that the more of your natural tooth structure you can keep, the better off you’ll be in the long run. She is a member of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry. Ashvin Forouzandeh holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Jose State University, and an Associate of Arts in Dental Hygiene from Indiana University. He received certification for Alternative Practice (special needs patients) from University of the Pacific. He has been working with Amy since 1999. Megan McLelland holds an Associate in Arts degree in Dental Hygiene from Chabot College. She has been working with Amy since 2003.
