What train services are there to Blackpool?

Two railway stations serve Blackpool: Blackpool North with services via Poulton-le-Fylde and Layton; Blackpool South with services via Lytham and St Annes, which also serves the Pleasure Beach. Blackpool North, sited just outside the town centre, is the biggest station and connects with bus services stopping in the station forecourt and at Talbot Road Coach Station nearby. It provides services terminating at Manchester Airport, Manchester Victoria, Liverpool, York, and Buxton. All services go via Preston where there are connections to the inter city network including London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Blackpool South offers an hourly service to Colne via Preston. It provides good rail access to the south of the town and is near to the busy Waterloo Road district centre, a stone’s throw from the seafront.
