What tracks does Warren play on Notorious?
A. Nile Rodgers plays the majority of the guitar on the Notorious album and all of it on the Notorious single. Andy Taylor came in for 1 or 2 sessions. Near the end of recording, Warren was hired to finish up. Several songs have more than one guitar track, played by more than one person as well. According to Warren in March 2003, “On American Science I did the E-bow solo. It has long sustained notes. I also played all guitars on Hold Me, power chords & a distorted harmony part in the bridges of Skin Trade, some heavy distorted guitars on Vertigo. JT played some rhythym parts, Nile played all the funky rhythym stuff & some distorted accent type parts on Notorious. Andy definitely played on Matter of Feeling, & the other American Science solo.
