With a few exceptions, ColdFusion MX is compatible with previous releases of ColdFusion. The ColdFusion MX documentation includes a full report on known compatibility issues. In addition, ColdFusion MX includes a new Code Compatibility Analyzer that enables ColdFusion developers to quickly identify areas of their current applications that may require tweaking to run on ColdFusion MX.
