With a few exceptions, ColdFusion MX 6.1 is compatible with previous releases of ColdFusion Server. ColdFusion MX includes a Code Compatibility Analyzer that enables ColdFusion developers to quickly identify areas of their current applications that may require tweaking to run on ColdFusion MX 6.1.
