What tools are known to be not strong?
The tool has a big probability to be not strong if it has one or more “Snake Oil Warning Signs”. You should also read the Bruce Schneier’s Crypto-GRAM from February 15, 1999. It is even worse when it has no such signs but still it is not strong. It is impossible to distinguish a really good program from the other that only seems to be one, judging only by it’s appearance, documentation, supported functions or authors’ names.
