What tools are available to an insurance carrier to assist in managing and responding to policy requests for information or Notice to Carriers?
All Notice to Carriers can be found on the WCRB Web site for three years after the NTC has been resolved. Carriers should respond to NTCs through the NTC Lookup application. As of January 1, 2010, all NTCs MUST be replied to by using the Web application. Also, the Policy View product on our Web site can be used to see WCRB policy records for the last two years. Reviewing this data can be helpful in determining the reason the NTC was sent and the actions needed.
