What to wear to a Mardi Gras dance?

Mardi Gras parties are known to be crowded and crazy. Make sure you wear an outfit that will not make you overheat and at the same time, impervious to being suddenly removed (been there, done that… sent the postcard) You also are probably going to be decked out in a bunch of beads, so make sure you wear some pants that make your toosh look its cutest since your upper half is going to probably be mostly concealed. Bright tops, like green, gold/yellow, or purple are a must for MG. The style should be flattering and fitting, either a V neck or circular neck cut. Since you will be wearing beads, those tops look the best with long necklaces. Have fun at the dance!!
Definitely get some cheap Mardi Gras beads, they aren’t hard to find, just check out a local party store like I-Party. I would suggest a bright purple dress, that color is really in right now and coincidentally, it’s a mardi gras color! With your dress, you can accessorize with gold jewelry in addition to your Mardi Gras beads! If you really want to be flashy, find a gold sparkly dress and have all eyes on you!
