What to wear to a Beethoven Symphony No. 4 ?? ?
You can wear anything from “nice” to “formal.” Some people go on fancy dates to the symphony and a fancy dinner and dress up really formally. But others, like my friends and I(college students), dress in only “nice” clothes, i.e. a buttoned up polo shirt and nice pants, or a girl will wear a nice top and a nice pants or skirt or something. Sometimes I will wear a dress shirt without a tie if I feel like it. Main point: You can wear anything within the range from “nice” to “formal.” It’s up to you where within that range your outfit will lie. I hope you enjoy the concert! Here are a couple tips I’d recommend: -Read the program BEFORE they play, not while they are playing. -Don’t zone out while they are playing. Think of it like watching a film – you never take your eyes off the screen, so likewise, don’t take your ears off the orchestra. -Clap when everybody else claps. Don’t clap when nobody is clapping.
