A counter-argument in the midst of the heat of the moment may prove counter-productive. I believe the woman-in-question may calm down, and even come to respect you more if you allow her to vent her venom; and when she realizes you very-well have her best interest at heart; she’ll be putty in your hands no matter what present and future arguments you get into. To me “Gentlemen” means looking out for other’s interest as well as your own… If your track-record backs this up, rest assured even if you are at fault-in-the-moment; your general tendency to want the best for people can’t help to go unnoticed at some point in the present or near-future.
