What to order in a fine dining restaurant?
There’s no right answer to this question. Your best bet is to find something on the menu that you know you like in general – say, chicken – and try it out. Of course you can branch out and try the veal if you’re feeling adventurous, but don’t feel pressured into doing that since it’s your first time. In fact, don’t feel pressured into anything. It’s a fine dining restaurant, and their service, food, and success thrives on your happiness there. If your food is not cooked right, or they got an order wrong, tell them. They will want to know, and most likely will be very good about it. If you don’t know what something is, just politely ask. As for desserts, if you plan on getting one, I’d say get creme brulee if they have it. I find the quality of a restaurant can be tasted in their creme brulee. 🙂 Have fun, that’s the whole point of dining out.
