I’m not a gamer – looking to use it for: – MS office – Lots of internet – Maintaining/Editing digital photos I’ve been advised to get 2-3 GB ram, 200 or more GB HD, a T-5000 (or +) processor but haven’t a clue what all that even means! Currently looking at the Dell Studio 17 or an Inspiron 1525; or the HP Pavillion – but looking to spend less than $1000. I’m a teacher so I do have access to education discounts if available (Canada). Not looking at a Mac – it’s a little over the range but more over, I’d have to then purchase the Office software… Thanks!!! I would recommend going with one of the Dells.
