What to I need to do in order to take classes at another institution?

To receive credit for courses taken at another institution during the regular academic year or summer sessions, you must be a matriculated student in good academic standing. Obtain a permission form during the semester prior to taking the course(s) elsewhere from West Hall Room 112 or download the application online (in pdf format). Complete the form and return to West Hall Room 112 with a course catalog including course descriptions. Approval is limited to students taking the course outside of commuting distance to Temple. Permission is rescinded if your GPA falls below 2.0, or you are placed on academic warning or probation. As with all courses accepted in transfer, only grades of C- or higher are acceptable; an official transcript from the institution to be attended must be forwarded to the advising office before the beginning of the following semester.
