What to feed a savannah cat?
These are half wild animals, and a dry food diet high in corn isn’t suitable for a house cat, let alone a Savannah. They need a high-protein, all meat diet like their wild ancestors, preferably a raw diet, and if not that then a high quality canned. They are not cheap cats to feed or keep. Feeding them supermarket food is just going to produce a very unhealthy cat. Here in the US most Savannah breeders require you to feed the same diet they’ve been feeding – which is often a raw one. Even if your local laws permit you to have one, don’t even begin to think about getting one unless you’re prepared to feed it the diet it needs.
