The simplest answer is that it depends on the man. If I have to generalize though, I would say that once dating starts, the relationship starts. Meaning it would be expected that you are monogamous, and you become girlfriend/boyfriend. The whole idea of the 1st date, 3rd date, 5th date, having “the talk” etc. doesn’t really exist in Turkey. You would be expected to respect each other and the guys can get pretty protective of their girlfriends. That being said, of course there are people just looking to fool around and have some fun. So what really matters is you getting to know this person and figuring out what he wants.
