What to do with 1950s-style mother?
You do not say how old you are and how old he is you could be 16 and him 60 but I presume this is not the case if you are old enough and sensible and he really is the one for you move in with him but let your mum know she is always welcome to your home and hopefully in time she will realise that she must except your choice in your life and will welcome him into your family don’t ever forget though she is your mother and we all worry over our children and want what is best for our daughters
