Hello. I’m on opiates as well and I experience the same awful constipation that you do. Opiates dry out your bowels leaving the stool impossible to pass. Saline enemas have worked wonders for me. Try that. Enemas work by retaining water in the walls of your bowels and making it easier for the stool to pass. It comes right out and you’ll be amazed at how much you poop! Follow the instructions and make sure to stay hydrated. ALSO opiates can really make you sick to your stomach, ask about Phenergan since you are already on an antihistamine for nausea (phenergan works much better than cyclizine, trust me.)
