What to do after a flea treatment?
• All occupants and animals should stay off treated surfaces until they are dry. • Vacuum carpets every day for 10 days and remove the vacuum bag outdoors and dispose of it properly. There is enough residual control to last to up four weeks. That’s enough time to kill adults as they emerge and give good control. • Wash all food preparation surfaces and utensils that might have come in contact with the insecticide. • Do not allow flea infested pets in your home. back to top How long do I have to stay out of the house? Depends on the treatment needed. For rodent trapping, or ant/roach baiting; you do not have to leave your home. If we have to spray the interior of your home, we ask you stay out for 3-4 hours or till the chemical is dry. For the exterior, pets and humans must stay off 3-4 hours or till it is dry (drying time will vary with weather conditions). Once the spray is dry, it is not as easily absorbed .
