What to check if no GPS fix obtained or it takes a long time to get a fix when A-GPS enabled?

Assisted GPS (A-GPS) speeds up getting the location fix by connecting to a positioning server over internet to fetch the satellite information. If the GPS fix cannot be obtained or it takes a long time, check the following: • Go to Positioning server settings. Depending on your device, select: • Menu > Settings > Phone > Application sett. > Positioning > Positioning server (e.g. Nokia N97 mini). • Menu > Settings > Application settings > Positioning > Positioning server > Server settings > supl.nokia.com (e.g. Nokia N8-00). • Check that a correct access point is selected in Access point setting for the positioning server. In some cases a wrong access point may have been assigned in the positioning server settings, causing delays in getting the GPS fix when A-GPS is enabled.
