As stated before we recommend 8-10weeks, however it will be hard for the couple to relate to a design if they don’t have the rest of their details in place . The exception can be a bride who knows exactly what she wants and we can then book the cake in up to 12 months prior to the wedding as all our details are written in contractual form and the couple have their copy to check the details . If the cake is ordered well in advance then we suggest they call back to the showroom 4 weeks prior to confirm all the details are still correct.
