The nets have announced that they cannot or will not announce any states until all of the polls in that state are closed. If one candidate reaches 270 electoral votes based on closed state polls, the nets will announce a candidate even if western state polls are still open. State polls are open until 7pm – 8 pm local time. Then votes have to be counted….look for early results between 9pm – 10 pm.
